I've been a fan of Shane Meadows' films since staggering out of The Metro cinema in 2004 after witnessing Dead Man's Shoes.

After watching This Is England I became a regular on the Shane Meadows website forum.

In early 2009 an idea for an informal mini-film competiton bubbled up out of forum members' discussions. Shane Meadows offered to judge the entries too! I asked If I could enter an animation and Dave Clark, the website's admin, said 'yes'!

After my Adam & Joe Video Wars success I thought I'd give animation another go.

To my surprise not only did Shane select my entry with five others to feature on his next DVD release as an extra but my entry also won the forum members' vote!
